Lee Jones went on to be a member of Burst, a professional group based out of Milwaukee from 1977 to 1985. Burst performed at Summerfest, festivals and clubs throughout the midwest and shared the stage with acts such as Bon Jovi, Head East, The Guess Who, Dr. Hook, Johnny Van Zant, Pure Prairie League and many more nationally acclaimed acts.
Now that they are together as the band Reunited and having both graduated from Phillips High School, Lee and Bob came up with the idea of creating a scholarship for a PHS senior who is involved and passionate about music. In order to fund this scholarship, the Jonesfest music festival was started in 2012. Local musicians play and donate their talents as well as Reunited to raise money and put on a good show. The many volunteers, musicians and performers, along with community support and lcoal donations have continued to make this a successful event.
